Engaged.

On April 23, 2010 Andy proposed to me. Here is the story:

A couple of friends had a reception on the 23rd. Andy and I had planned to attend. After mingling at the reception, Andy said let's go get some dinner. We decided on Puerto Vallarta. AFter eating some delicious mexican food, I asked Andy what we were going to do next. He replied, "Why don't we go grab a movie from my apartment and we will go watch it at your house or my parents." When we went into Andy's apartment to grab the movie, there was a huge box on the floor with a rose and note on top. It read, "Emily: Inside this box is to show how much you mean to me." I started to open the box and found another box and then another box. I continued to open boxes until there was a small one that looked like a ring box. I opened it and there was a frootie tootsie roll. I opened it and wrapped around the tootsie roll was a little note. It read, "I've always said frooties are a little piece of heaven. Now, if you want more than that, go to the mailbox of Steaven (Steve, Andy's Brother)."

This took us to Steve's house. Andy was trying to be all secretive about the proposal. When we went to the mailbox Andy's mom was watching Steve's boys. We talked for a minute and grabbed the next clue without her knowing. The second clue read, "Remember the time I played Cat's 20 greatest songs? Go to the room where he took away all our wrongs."

From Steve's we went to Andy's parent's house. In their computer room I found yet another clue. This one was pretty smooth and easy. The third clue read, "I've often read your phone to say that I'll be going there someday. You know my game, I do what I do, On these grounds you'll find another clue."

This clue made me crazy. Andy told me that he had Steve hide a clue on the temple grounds and he didn't know where it was. So I started looking around and looking around. I looked high and I looked low, but no clue. As I was looking at a tree, I turned around and Andy was down on his knee with a little box. He then said some adorable things and asked me to marry him. I said yes! then said, "Let's get this ring to some light so I can see it!" Then we went around and shared the great news. The date we set was July 9, 2010.

More to come: Wedding, Honeymoon, Life and more!
